I have ativan for a panic attack and im afraid to try it to see will it help me!!!! Did anyone else use this med to stop an attack and did it work? any side effects? PLEASE HELP!

I have problems being afraid taking meds as well.. But ativan is one of the meds that I take without being scared. I take a low dose, it kicks in quickly, and the only side effects are sometimes a little sleepy, and sometimes dizzy (only dizzy maybe twice out of all the times I've taken it)
I think its a good medication to take when having a panic attack
