Not sure if I just made the word "needlephobia" up or not but basically I have been insulin dependent for 8 or so years due to diabetes. Problem is I absolutely hate needles and injections. This is to the extent that I have passed out having blood tests. I can't even watch if they come on TV and get light headed thinking about it! It's very strange considering my daily injections are mostly pain free.

It's a **** position to be in and injecting twice a day still freaks me out all these years later. At the beginning I thought I would have got used to it but I never have. I really can't stand it. It's a continuous source of anxiety and one which I feel will always be there considering I will always be dependent on insulin...

Anyone else in the same position or have any advice? Thanks
