Help with sorting out a bank account, when I can't get to the branch

I was wondering if anyone else had problems setting up bank accounts because they couldn't make it to the bank? All I've got at the moment is an old savings account that I've had since I was about 10, and there's only about £6 in there at the moment. I need a current account, because I make things that I want to sell online, but I don't see how I can do it because it's just too far for me to go. I wanted my parents to set up an account for me, but they said that they couldn't do it in my name because I'm 20. Does anyone know what I can do? I'm from England btw
