Can an over the counter drug like St.Johns Wort treat anxiety?

i tend to get anxiety before im about to leave or do anything...can st.johns wort treat it or is there any over the counter drug that calm my nerves

everything natural i've tried never has long effects. i've tried kavakava and other supplements as well.
