If this guy cares about you.. and is with you, then he probably said it for your own health and well being hun, he probably wants you to feel good about yourself as well as him liking what he sees, he probably just assumed that you asking him meant that you were a little self conscious about it. i wouldn't take it to personal! and just be happy with what you got

If you really are fat, you should be able to tell that yourself. As much as it hurts, if a guy says you are fat then most likely you are. Guys have an eye for these things you see, assuming the guy you spoke to is of "normal intelligence" and is not being an a**.
