okay, i havent been suffering for a long time, maybe 3 years tops but since iv really concentrated on getting better iv made amazing progress.

first things first, the definition of a panic attack in itself helped me,
A panic attack is a fight or flight response caused by irrational fears which result in unrealistic thoughts, the body begins to panic and therefore u begin to breathe in small quick pants, this disturbs the bodies co2/02 ratio, which in turn causes all the other unpleasant feelings, dizziness, heart palpitations (which btw is VERY good for your heart because it exercises the muscle and makes it stronger) so the way to stop a panic attack is to rationalise and take control of ur breathing

THIS TECHNIQUE TAKES 2 MINUTES TO WORK AND IT DOES WORK ITS SIMPLE

all you have to do is concentrate
breate in for 7 seconds
breathe out for 11 seconds

thats it, do this for 2 minutes and all the while say to yourself

"for goodness sake, its a panic attack its caused by irrational thoughts and i can stop it"

it has changed my life, but always remember the definition of a panic attack.. i really hope this helps at least one other person and i'll be happy, please try it guys
