[QUOTE=LisaMarie;34521]I am dealing with the same thing! My anxiety is so bad that I refuse to take medicine because i am afraid of the side effects or it makin me feel "high" or out of my state of mind..anxiety has taken over so now i have to go talk to someone and get on medication.[/QUOT

HI LisaMarie,, I can totally relate. I have been dealing with anxiety/panic attacks for as long as i can remember but lately they have taken over me... I have never taken medication because of same reason.. I don't have medical insurance right now or would most definitely talk to someone to see if there is an alternative.... If not I may just try the medication because I am to that point... I hope everything works out for you....

I think the only one who differentiated between the anxiety and depression. I currently deal with anxiety attacks on a regular basis. I have panic attacks sometimes, but not very often anymore.

hi iv had severe anxiety/depresion now for 25 years, and yes when you try and explain to someone "nooooo this is not a panic attack its an anxiety attack" that will last for as long as it decides to stay with you days, weeks, months. Iv had many phsychiatrists tell me many reasons why im like i am (personality disorder, my past, my family, the birth of my child) but none to help with understanding and actually coping with the severe, awful, mad, crazy feelings. i get all the symptoms you speak about and yeah it really does feel very frightening like your going insanly mad its the only way i can describe it when im really bad. My youngest child is 11 and trying to explain to him as to why i cant control how im feeling or cant stop crying just breaks my heart he wants to do so much but i cant get out the house when im feeling this bad. So nice to hear that im not alone iv noticed your message was last year hope your well and all your symptoms are under control and if they are let me no your secret !!!!!
