My name is Kirby. I'm a 16 year old female. I have suffered from Anxiety for a year now. I have fears of being alone and dying. This often means that I won't leave my house and I find it difficult to sleep. Thank you!

Hello im 17, i have a few medcal issues, i have fibro myaljia which is a muscle dicsorder that effects your brain, the way you think, sleep, handle things, it causes depression, i have endmetriosis, a have rib inflamation, i now found ut i have extremely low vitemin D level which also causes depression, im finding everything to hard to cope with i have always suffered from depression but never ever ever can talk to anyone its driving me mad! i am always feeling poorly and hurting, i have O.D;d before and its so hard not to do it again and take more, i dont know whats gong on in my head i just dont think i can handle this feeling anymore its killing me!!!! im pushing people away and its hurting me even more, WHAT DO I DO !!!! im to young for all this

Hello, I'm new here. I have suffered from depression & anxiety for many years. Hopefully, by being part of an online group who has first hand experience with these maladies, I will not feel so alone. No-one in my life understands it, other than my Mother who is an RN, and, has experienced it herself. However, she is getting older, and, lives far away from me. It's so difficult when no-one understands what you are going through, as I am sure most of you have also experienced. Maybe this forum is a good thing for all of us. Take care & God Bless!

hello everyone, i'm 26, i'm a guy, i have panic disorder w/ agoraphobia. I have allowed it to destroy much of my life, and what remains is pretty much the ruins of my former self and the life i had before this affliction took hold. I live alone, what's left of my family is gone and those that remain live hundreds and thousands of miles away. I'm a student of psychology (ironically) and working to eventually attain my doctorate. I stumbled across this site through google and i am hoping to meet others who are struggling with this disorder and all the things that come with it. I wish you all the best and i remain optimistic that we can all conquer this.

Hello, I'm a twelve-year-old girl. Yes, I am technically a child, but my fears & phobias are ruining my life. I suffer from selenophobia, and violent, severe, devastating arachnophobia. I never go out after six for fear of seeing the moon or a spider. I love all of the people on this site and I look forward to overcoming my fears here.

hey Im 21..!! my major reason for depression is cz of my fear of bein alone.!i get frustrated when i dont get to open up my mind to someone .End up crying n deprived of sleep.
its been there for quite sometym nw. Thought ive moved on in life past some difficulties but still seem to be holding on to it.

hi im a 24 yr old female and was told by my dr about 3 mnths ago that i have anxiety! Im not convinced as it came from nowhere. Ive lost weight rapidly have tachycardia tremors etc but all tests are coming back normal. When my mind is occupied im fine but when i go out alone it starts does anybody else get this it feels horrid

have they tested ur thyroid? the reason i ask this is im having alot of problems and like youi go through bouts of anxiety that just comes on, the thing isi have a thyroid nodule (lump) for a year now and im almost certain i have a under active thyroid, the docs only do a tsh test which very rarely comes up fine even if you have a thyroid problem, im currently trying to get them to do other tests for thyroid which will give a in death answer the thing is they are not convinced cause they swear by the tsh test, ive heard this not to be the case, maybe its worth asking about. x

sorry i ment which almost certainly comes back within normal range so they usually say all is well, but i have looked into this furthur and doctors shouldnt just rule that as vital there are other tests they should be doing, i know someone who had so say normal range tsh and eventually went private to have the extra tests and after years of anti-depressants and councelling it turned out she had a thyroid disorder and as soon as she got medicated for the thyroid prob she was herself again, im still trying to get the funds up together to get the extra tests but its worth knowing about. x

Hi new girl here from NC. We dont have any support groups so hopefully this group will help. I have OCD anxiety depression and phobias.... Pretty much since I was a little girl...37 now. Right now I'm battling the heart attack phobia .... Yet again. I pray and try not to worry, but I feel alone so much though I know Im not. Peace, love, and wellness to us all!

I haven't been to a doctor because I have no health insurance and I can't afford to see anyone. I have tried looking for some counseling but I cannot afford that either. So I found this website.
