Today has become my vision for tomorrow.

Today the world screamed and ached.
We suffered many punishments for our indulgent wishes,
Just take things as they come, do what needs to be done.
Then we listen carefully to the humming and try to low our voices.
Cover the cracks and hide the scar to make her think we're fine.
Generous thoughts are wasted, I'm not the one in pain.

There are no rules or reference maps, no steps to follow nor footprints to track.
No one left to hold my hand and help me reach light.
Doing this on my own and doing it all alone are not the same.
The air has grown thick and I can hardly see, but I know I'll find my way.
Not thanks to you or thanks to me, but thanks to the keeper of Time and Change.
And grateful I am, because now I can see Tomorrow has been left in my hands.

No second sight or fortune telling, magic spell or potion,
Tomorrow is going to be better.

So. I don't usually do this, but I had a real urge.
I'm not a writer or a poet, and have no intentions of claiming to be one!
I felt like sharing though! And I hope some of you might like to share your opinions with me?

This is beautiful. I don't understand it fully, but is the ending a positive one with hope in it? or am I just wrong.. sorry if I am, I might have interpreted it wrong. Anyways, well done for sharing, that came right from your soul xxx

    Thank you sweetie <3
I don't expect everyone to understand it though
The end is optimistic in a way, yeah.
I'd like people to interpret it in whatever way they want. However it comes across.
