Hi all

Thought I should say a few things about me!!

Im 33 years old, male, live in Milton Keynes and have agoraphobia and GAD. Ive had these for 8 years now. Im currently on Citalopram and Diazepam for this condition.

I was always a bit of a lad although had very controlling parents. I was a 'lad' in terms of I liked my fast cars, women and bodybuilding till one day this horrible thing called anxiety hit me and put me in hospital as I thought I was dying, little did I know I was having a first class panic attack. I then became scared of having another one to which in turn brought on another one, vicous c***le really!

Anyway, here I am now 8 years on. Still on medication and still cant travel very far. Its sad for me as i desperatley want to take my fiancee on holiday. My fiancee is very understanding, I met her 2 years ago and she is extremley helpful and she is a Nurse in mental health which helps! My daughter is 10 in a few months and want to take her places too, still cant do it. Its very sad as I get to see her every other w/end and we end up taking my dog for a walk around the local woods or to the park, thats about as far as I can go!!
