    Even though most people don't have family to support them it is a good idea to try to surround yourself with people that are supporting whether they be family by blood or chosen family. Having a support system for you is a very big part of recovery and thats probably the big reason most of us come to this chat... to feel supported, and understood.

    Please lets not take offense about advice given from the heart... like all advice you take what you can from it and go on. What works for some doesn't work for others.

    emma thank you for the advice that you have given and you are right these post are from our own insights, some people here have wonderful families that are a great help and unfortunately i am n the group of people that families have caused their problems. but you do have the right to post anything that you please. i know that u did not mean to offend anyone. we all need someone to talk to and that is why we are here. to have friends that we can lean on sometimes. and that is all emma is trying to say.
