Hi Gord, Cheer, Petal, Jess & Dino
Thanks for all your support it makes all the difference having people that understand you can talk to on here I tried to tell my boyfriend what I had managed to do and he just laughed at me as if I was pathetic . Anyway I have done the same drive again since I wrote that post with the same success I was shaking like a leaf though when I got home this morning thought I couldn't be anymore scared then I came on here and read about Gord in his kilt :o
I will keep trying got a very long way to go yet but I am sure the support on here has helped loads .

Dear Kel :)

See ... I told you you'd be able to do that drive again with success and you have! Congratulations once again. You can do this Kel. You've done it twice now and you can do it again.

It's hard when one's partner just does not 'get' one's disorder. That's really hard. Some people just don't understand these kinds of mental health problems at all and that's hard to accept but it does happen.

All I can say is concentrate on your achievements as they are big achievements. Keep driving and build up your 'track record'!

Keep letting us know how you are going. Don't be discouraged if you experience another panic attack while driving. Just get straight back in your car and try again. We will always experience little hiccups on our road to recovery.
