Thanksgiving is coming up and i am not ready to face my family. They are the cause of much of my anxiety. But I feel bad blowing them off. Years past I drove myself there left when I felt anxiety or just didn't go at all. But since I can't drive myself this year I wont be able to leave when I want. I don't know what to do. I don't think I can take this right now. :( :P :D

<span style='color:blue'>We Brits never give thanks for anything here - we just moan and grumble, grumble and moan! LOL

But we do know how much Thanksgiving means to our friends in the US (and, earlier, in Canada too), and that "family thing" is something we ALL have in common, the good and, yes, the bad.

Please don't feel guilty or anything about not being able to be there with your family this year. Perhaps give them a call on the day to say how much you love them and miss them, if you can?

And, wherever you are, raise a glass to them, close your eyes for a moment, and you'll Be There with them in spirit, which is all that really counts.

Take care, girl, and all the best.
