Hi everyone,

Just thought I would come on here and introduce mysef.

My name is Debbie, I live in North Yorkshire with my husband and two kids.

I have suffered from emetophobia (fear of vomiting) for approx 25 years although it has got a lot worse since having my two children. I regularly suffer from anxiety bought on by my fear of my children being sick or myself, when I or my kids are sick this usually brings on a panic attack. I find it very hard to live a normal life, I force myself to go out but usually panic that something bad will happen as a result of this.

I have tried CBT, but this was not very successful for me and am now thinking of trying hypnotherapy.

Well enough about me, this looks like a really good site and I am pleased that I found it.

Bye for now

Debbie X
